Nobelity In Action

“There is nothing magical about change – you just get up and take the first step on an issue you care about.”
Nobel Peace Prize Winner Jody Williams from  NOBELITY

As we work around the world, documenting stories of hope and progress, we also engage in action projects supporting improvements in environmental, education and health conditions in communities in need. In every project we undertake, we work with great local partners committed to bringing about positive change.

Watch our 10 years of work in action.

Kenya Schools Fund

The Nobelity Project is working with over 25 school communities across rural Kenya to build classrooms, libraries, computer labs and clean water systems, directly impacting over 8,000 students and their families. In addition to the infrastructure projects we support academic achievement through scholarship programs to assist deserving students to continue their education despite financial hardship.

MahigaPreSchoolHapploresIn 2014 we are launching a new Pre-School construction initiative to help communities start or improve early childhood development programs. Research shows that early learning is one key to long term success in school, and these communities are committed to giving their children the best chance for their futures. Our team is formalizing plans for a two room, bright, light structure that we, or others, can replicate for a consistent, low price. Our pilot program is completed with 5 preschools constructed to date.

We’ve been to these schools, talked to the parents and played with these kids and we invite you to become a part of these children’s lives.

Roatan Bookmobile – Sandcastle Library

BookmobileLoveDumboThe Nobelity Project partnered with Sandcastle Library to build and operate a bookmobile that provides books and improves learning for 14 fishing village schools and 3,500 students on Roatan Island, Honduras. The Bookmobile is on the road and making a huge impact on these communities, bringing the love of reading to these remote schools. We are in the process of collecting Spanish-language books, preferably primary and secondary school levels.
